Catharina is Head of Deal Structuring & Legal at Strada Partners.
Catharina began her professional career in corporate law in 2011, specialising in M&A, private equity and capital markets transactions. She worked as a corporate lawyer at internationally ranked law firms, advising on mergers & acquisitions and listed transactions. In March 2017, she joined Gimv as Legal Counsel, where her role quickly expanded beyond legal advice to include strategic involvement in deal origination and execution. In 2021, Catharina became Principal within Gimv’s Sustainable Cities platform, supporting the existing portfolio through board mandates work while also sourcing and closing new investments.
Catharina is also a co-founder and investor at Syndicate One.
Outside the office, Catharina balances her career with life as a mother of two (three if you count the dog). She is a certified Pilates instructor and enjoys staying active, cooking for friends and family, and dancing wherever there is music.
